This Privacy Notice has been prepared by Afinitem, acting as data controller, pursuant to Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). The Company is registered with the Turkish Data Controllers' Registry (VERBİS).
1. Personal Data Processed
When you visit www.afinitem.com and use the forms on the site, the following personal data may be processed:
Identity and Contact Data: Name and surname, email address, phone number, company/organization name.
Request and Application Data: Information you submit via the contact, demo request, partnership and job application forms; CV/LinkedIn/portfolio links in job applications.
Transaction Security Data: Hashed IP address, cookie consent records, timestamps.
Marketing Data (subject to consent): Newsletter subscription email address.
2. Purposes of Processing
Your personal data is processed to: (i) receive, evaluate and respond to your requests and applications, (ii) run demo and proposal processes for our products and services, (iii) evaluate job applications, (iv) manage partnership and reseller processes, (v) send newsletters where you have given explicit consent, (vi) ensure information security and fulfil legal obligations, and (vii) determine the website language (country detection from IP is performed with a local database; your IP address is never sent to third parties).
3. Legal Grounds
Under Article 5 of the KVKK, data is processed on the grounds of: processing directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c), compliance with legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç), the controller's legitimate interests provided fundamental rights are not harmed (Art. 5/2-f), and explicit consent for newsletters and non-essential cookies (Art. 5/1).
4. Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred to authorized public institutions where legally required, and to hosting and email infrastructure providers only to the extent required by the service. Where transfers abroad are required (e.g. due to our US office), the conditions of Article 9 of the KVKK are observed.
5. Collection Method
Data is collected through website forms, cookies and server records, by partially automated means.
6. Retention Periods
Form records are kept for a maximum of 2 years after the request is concluded; job applications for 1 year; cookie consent records for the statutory proof period; newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. At the end of these periods, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
7. Your Rights under Article 11 of the KVKK
You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction; request notification of these operations to third parties; object to results arising exclusively from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.

To exercise your rights, you may fill in the Data Subject Request Form on our website, email info@afinitem.com, or apply in writing to our address above. Applications are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
